Once upon a time: Akti Lij!
In January, the Sami dance artists Liv Aira and Marika Renhuvud were at the residence at Giron Sámi Theater in Kiruna and further in February in collaboration with Norrlandsoperan a residence in Tärnaby. The performance premieres on February 27 with Liv Airas and Marika Renhuvud's interactive choreography Akti Lij - Lule Sámi for "Once upon a time" for children aged 4-10.

Broad investments in national minorities
A dance and yoik performance, digitization of the Jewish Chronicle's archives, a Roma festival focusing on young people, a recurring midsummer festival for young people in Tornedalen and an information bank for minority writers. These are initiatives that receive support when the Swedish Arts Council distributes SEK 1.6 million in project grants to Sweden's national minorities' cultural activities.

A dance performance is created
In all the work Liv Aira has done during her dance education, she has returned to her Sami origins. When she met the yoik and actress Elin Teilus, they found each other immediately and began a collaboration.
After many years elsewhere, Liv is back in Sábme. This year's winter market is the premiere for Ájttega, a dance and yoik performance that has recently taken shape in Jåhkåmåhkke.
