Scenkonst Sörmland

Scenkonst Sörmland Sörmland is part of Kultur & Utbildning Sörmland, which is an area of activity within the Sörmland Region. The committee for culture, education and outdoor activities is politically responsible for the activities, and is financed by the region, the county's nine municipalities and the Swedish National Council for Culture. Culture & Education's vision is precisely to "broaden views and arouse commitment", as well as to contribute to people being able to influence their situation and society.

Region Norrbotten

The Norrbotten Region has a politically controlled mission to make art and culture accessible to those who live in Norrbotten and to visitors.

 

The Norrbotten Region has the task of making art and culture accessible to you as a Norrbotten resident or as a visitor. The cultural unit belonging to the Department of Regional Development at the Norrbotten Region is responsible for this work.

 

The cultural unit works on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and the county's elected politicians to promote regional cultural development in Norrbotten.

Jokkmokk Municipality

Culture and experience development in Jokkmokk municipality is the name of the Culture and Leisure Committee's long-standing investment in the development of the culture and experience sector in the municipality. The project is abbreviated KUPP.

Saami Council

The Saami Council is a voluntary Saami organization (a non–governmental organization), with Saami member organizations in Finland, Russia, Norway and Sweden. Since it was founded in 1956 the Saami Council has actively dealt with Saami policy tasks.

Dalarna Region

The Dalarna region is responsible for regional cultural and educational issues. Culture makes people develop and feel good. Expressiveness and creativity are strengthened when we experience, create and learn new things. Where people grow, democracy also develops there.

Norrlandsoperan stöder Invisible People Contemporary Dance company

Norrlandsoperan

Located in the middle of Umeå you’ll find the cultural institution Norrlandsoperan. Since its foundation in 1974, Norrlandsoperan has developed from a regional opera ensemble into a centre for performing arts. Still with a regional reach.

Norrlandsoperan includes Norrlandoperan Symphony Orchestra and departments for opera, dance, music and contemporary art. In house we have four stages, production workshops, studios and our own ticket office.

We are a publicly funded cultural institution. Norrlandsoperan is owned by both Region Västerbotten (60%) and Umeå kommun (40%).

Längmanska Företagarfonden

The Längmanska Entrepreneurship Fund finances projects in Norrbotten County where companies collaborate to develop their business. We also support strategic projects that create increased business potential for existing and new companies in the county.

We primarily finance projects in the following areas;

  • Experience industries

  • Rural industries

  • Test industries
