Last updated: 20250116
1. Commitment to Non-Discrimination
Invisible People Contemporary Dance ensures that all residency artists, staff, and participants
are treated equally, regardless of:
• Gender identity or expression
• Ethnicity, cultural background, or nationality
• Disability, neurodivergence, or special needs
• Sexual orientation
• Religious or political beliefs
We actively recruit artists and staff from underrepresented groups, including Sami and other
Indigenous artists.
2. Workplace Safety & Well-being
• All residency spaces are judgment-free zones where artistic freedom is respected.
• We maintain zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior.
• Confidential channels for reporting concerns are available, and all complaints are taken
seriously.
3. Accessibility & Equal Opportunities
• Physical accessibility: Jillat – Sami Dance Center is working towards full accessibility,
including step-free access and adapted facilities, including support for those with
hearing loss.
• Digital inclusion: We provide live-streamed events and online documentation for those
who cannot participate in person.
• Fair Compensation: We ensure that all artists and staff receive fair pay according to
Nordic cultural sector standards. In Sweden these levels can be found in something called
KLYS.
